MONTA ELLIS: ""There are probably a lot of things you've seen from Monta Ellis in the past six years that you won't see this year. That's for the sake of the team," Ellis said. Teammate David Lee noted that Ellis is definitely different, and said "I think he did a great job of being a great teammate last year, which you might not have heard before about him, and I think he's even more committed this year." He's a premier fantasy player as long as he's with the Warriors, and should not slip beyond the second round"

JOE JOHNSON: "Joe Johnson, coming off a poor season, is looking to bounce back and return to fantasy prominence this year.
"I've never been a guy to make excuses," he said. "I had a down year and I'm looking forward to bouncing back." If Jamal Crawford isn't back (and it sounds like he won't be), Johnson should get many more touches. We agree with JJ and expect him to be a real value pick in fantasy leagues this year."

DANILO GALLINARI: "After watching scrimmage Wednesday, Nuggets broadcaster Vic Lombardi tweeted that Danilo Gallinari is the best player on the team.
Lombardi admits that he's "jumping to conclusions," but with Wilson Chandler and J.R. Smith stuck in China, we're on board with the notion of Gallinari having a big year. Still just 23, Gallinari averaged 15.6 points last season, but could easily raise his scoring into the 17 or 18 range if healthy."

JORDAN CRAWFORD: "Jordan Crawford has impressed Flip Saunders at Wizards practice.
"Jordan was lights-out shooting today. He was probably our leading scorer, as far as things he can do. He has the ability, he can score," said Saunders. The head coach added that he'd like to have restricted free agent Nick Young back as well, but if he doesn't, Crawford's fantasy appeal will explode through the roof. He averaged 19.3 points per game starting late in the season for Washington at the end of the 2010-11 campaign."

KENNETH FARIED: "Nuggets broadcaster Vic Lombardi tweeted that Kenneth Faried is the "real deal" after watching the team scrimmage on Wednesday.
Lombardi isn't the first observer to be impressed by Faried's potential, as the No. 22 draft pick had a strong showing in the Drew League over the summer. Faried is an undersized power forward at 6'6", and a shaky free throw shooter, but he warrants a close watch during the abbreviated preseason with the potential that he could end up playing heavy minutes (and even potentially start) for the Nuggets at PF."

AL-FARAUQ AMINU: "If Ariza can't shoot his way out of a barn this season the Hornets could turn to Aminu."
